Since 1976, RBH Sound has been designing, engineering and crafting high-performance loudspeaker systems. We provide the tools for superior acoustic reproduction at sensible prices.
RBH loudspeakers are designed and built with a specific purpose in mind - to be a very accurate, high performing speaker with exceptional power-handling characteristics.
To accomplish these performance levels, RBH uses the highest quality parts and incorporating many state-of-the-art features in the designs. For example, the voice coil winding lengths for the 10 & 12-inch woofers have been increased almost 40 percent over standard to allow for the long excursions which occur during the reproduction of low bass. Because of this increased length, RBH Woofers & subwoofers are capable of bass reproduction extending lower than 30 Hz(+3db).
The aluminum cones used for the mid-range and bass drivers, teamed with an ultra-stiff die cast basket, give the Signature Series a mid-range clarity unsurpassed by other ordinary speakers. To successfully decrease distortion, the voice coil formers are manufactured with Kapton®, an aerospace material capable of handling high temperatures, yet invisible to electromagnetic interference. The result is less distortion at high power levels and transient response demands.
The tweeter is cooled and damped by a magnetic liquid injected in the voice coil gap. This results in total accuracy and smoothness. The use of a fabric dome improves the speaker's high frequencies, creating an incredible image.
The cabinet is made from a very dense material called MDF (Medium Density Fiberboard) to help eliminate any unwanted cabinet resonance. In addition, internal braces used throughout the speaker enclosures ensure total integrity. This method of construction allows the speakers to handle higher stress and power levels without giving way to distortion. The choice of finishes vary from a Nevamar with an abrasion resistant finish to 30 high quality natural hardwood veneers.
In the design and manufacture of the crossovers, RBH utilizes top-of-the-line capacitors and inductors. Sophisticated crossover designs ensure extremely low distortion and correct phasing of all drivers. In addition, the circuit incorporates a poly-switch circuit which virtually eliminates any over-driving of the tweeter.

In designing the matching 10" & 12" subwoofer, RBH created a 200 watt power amplifier featuring enough reserve capacitance to ensure the home theater system will never run out of power...even during the audio reproduction of thunderous explosions and earthquakes. These are truly high performance subwoofers.
RBH loudspeakers have been carefully engineered and crafted to produce high end speakers with exceptional value. Incorporating over 20 years of experience in the design and manufacture of this series, RBH believes when you audition their Signature Series, you will understand why RBH is redefining the way you experience sound.
A Plus Electronics Bass Tactile Transducer System |
||
| Research has shown that tactile sensation greatly adds to the suspension of belief. Our tactile transducer system consists of a dedicated 250-watt subwoofer shelf mounted amplifier with separate gain control and 4 each seat or couch mounted bass tactile transducers. Generally this system is good for 6-8 seats. We have successfully used one transducer for every 2 modular theatre seats in past systems. However, seating arrangement in your system could necessitate an additional system if more than 6-8 seats need treating. One system can also treat up to 2 couches. Pictured below are the elements of the system. | ||

RBH in-wall speakers are designed to be installed into a wall, with only the front of the speaker 'flush' with the wall. In-wall speakers do not need an in-room enclosure, they use the inside of the wall as the enclosure. Therefore, you get great sound without using valuable floor space.
There are a lot of in-wall speakers on the market today. Some of these speakers are worth the money, while others are not. RBH uses only high-quality components in each in-wall and in-ceiling speaker we manufacture. For over 21 years, our reputation has stood on a firm foundation of quality audio products.
